Frequently asked questions
Who performs Contoura Vision and LASIK?
Dr. Bandana Tiwary, Co-Founder & Senior Refractive Surgeon, whose specialisations include Contoura LASIK and ICL implantation.
Am I suitable for laser vision correction?
Generally, adults whose glasses power has stayed stable for at least a year, with healthy eyes. It is best put off during pregnancy. A detailed eye examination decides it.
Should I stop wearing contact lenses before the eye test?
Yes. Contact lenses change the shape of the cornea for a while, which would affect the measurements. We will tell you how many days before to leave them out.
Are both eyes treated together?
Usually, yes — both eyes are treated in the same sitting.
When can I get back to work and screens?
Most people are back to routine work within a few days. Do not rub your eyes, and avoid swimming and eye make-up for as long as your surgeon advises.
